Post received my KLA Industries strut bar today

Well when I got home from work today there was the box from UPS,I opened it up and this looks like a very nice piece, the bar and all of its fittings and pieces look like high quality pieces and for the introductory price of $89.99 it is a steal. However there are no install instructions at all,so I guess I just figure it out!Would I but it again?Yes.

Thumbs up

Hi Rfuerst: I got mine the other day too and agree that it is very well made. I was a little concerned about the brackets as they had no right angles for strength and I couldn't see the thickness in the pic's. But they are made of very heavy flat stock 3/16th inch, that's plenty stout. And the whole kit only weighs a little over 2 lbs.
It will have a nice clean look in the boot.I think I might be able to just cut slits in the carpet to slip over the brackets? so everything is still covered.
Thanks KLA nice work

I installed my bar today, the instructions at the link above is how it went, however I purchased 4 longer bolts because the originals are not long enough.I also had to heat the 4 bolts with oxy/acetyline to break them free!Nice bar though.

I installed mine last Friday and went on a run in Santa Barbara on Saturday with about twenty other Porsches. I was glad to have it in place as we did some fast twisties on roads that were a little ruff/rough(ruf on the brain?).
It installed easy as my screws/bolts have been out recently. I did buy longer screws too by about a 1/4 inch.
Well worth the money
