I have a 1983 911sc and looking for a another engine lid to replace mine and ran across a 1979sc engine lid. Is there any difference between the two that may cause a problem or any differences that will be seen?

Nope....they are the same....the only difference may be in the fact the SC lid may have holes provided for mounting the SC Emblem....easily fixed if that is the case....but dimensionally the same lid

...and since both the 1979 and 1983 cars are "911SC" models there should be no difference between them with the holes, either.

What color engine lid do you need and what is the going price for a very good one with grill ? I have one i may sell off a 81 sc ...like new
