It's good that you've come out of the closet finally - must be a relief...

I'm not a two-tone dash person or even two-tone interior but I think Dane had the best one I've seen...

Here's that pic I mentioned of his car:

wow, I have to admit that it looks sweet. I'm guessing he made up the cork RSR panels himself. Excellent job. I would prefer them to the stock version, but there are many other things more important since mine are good.
What kind of seats are those anyway?
I'll do a search to possibly find some other pics.

I dunno - he posts on Pelican as Rdane. I think he's changed his interior recently. ... pretty sure he's posted threads on how he did what to the interior, so a search should pop it up.

I've been trying to figure out why it looks so good to me -- I think one thing is that with a two tone interior or exterior the two colors need to be farily close to each other - i.e. not have one real bright. There' also the whole color wheel thing, complimentary etc. but that can't be it since one 'color' is black.

Also, it looks he got real good lighting for that shot...

Well, dang! Ulrich. I'm impressed. That looks very nice. I toyed with the idea of a dash overlay, but never thought of cutting one up. "Cheers" Roadslayer

The problems with the dash overlay are:
- It's a $70 piece of plastic, and it looks and feels like it.
- It only comes in Black.
- If you are using it to cover another color dash (Cork in my case) there are areas (around the instrument panel) where the original color still peeks through.

All of this is is what prompted my dash surgery solution. It covers up the cracks on the flat portion of my dash. For the 2 small cracks on the other part of the dash I used the following method:
- Fill crack almost all the way up with caulk
- Fill the remainder with color stick used to fill scratches in wood floors. They come in several colors, one was very close to my Cork color.

Looks like they are the 996 GT3 seats--hard to tell from this angle but the design of the bottom pads, cutouts, and the stitching look like GT3 seats. He probably had to fabricate sliders for them, since those seats are hard to fit into some of the older cars. Nice looking interior though!
