Question Bursch Headers

I am about to order Bursch headers for my stock 79SC and I keep getting conflicting advice regarding replacing oil lines. Some people say I must back date my oil lines, as is required when you dack date to SSI heat exchangers. While others say that because the Bursch headers have no heat exchangers there are no clearance issues.

So does anyone have a definitive answer, Oil Line change yes/no???

Cheers John H.

John,

I had to backdate the oil line when I installed my headers on 83 SC - they were European Racing headers, not Bursch. But I do think you will have the same issue.
