Driving from Eugene up to Portland on the I-5, around 3:45 PM today I saw a sweet 70's 911 with a duck tail, moving southbound, then another, and another, and so on... There must have been 25 or more! What was going on? That drive was really cool to see. I bet it was a blast for those lucky enough to participate. Anyone know any details?

If they were driving south, they're probably headed toward the RGruppe event in Sonoma. It will be the largest meeting of early 911S and 911RS cars this year on this planet.

The RGruppe guys use the Early 911S registry site to link up. There are a few threads on this there. It's a truly impressive group of cars.
