Hi Guys, I am starting on the restore of my 1974 911S and wanting to drain the fuel tank I raised the front and was going to remove the drain plug but cant find anything to fit .I went to sears, auto zone even a specialized tool store but cant find a allen wrench larger than a 17mm. any advise on what fits the plug and where to buy one? Thanks in advance for any help,Dave

Dave,
3 Things.
1. Congratulations on joining Rennlist and your Porsche. Please put some pics of it up.
2. When I needed to remove a large hex socket I got a big bolt and nut that fit into it and I welded the two together. Then a socket will fit the nut and the hex of the bolt will go into the drain plug.
3. I think you should change your 74 heat exchangers for something that gives you more power and then send your old ones to me!
Frank
