Post 75 911 C. -Galvanized???

Hello all,

I've got some conflicting info lately. Can anyone tell me -definitively, when galvanized 911s started? I've read "in '75", and " after '75". In case it makes a difference, the car is a Carrera Targa (thus the wider, SC r. quarters), S/N: 9115410167.

The floor pans and inner panels were galvanized as early as 72, at least my 72 floor pan and inner wheel wells were.

The process of using the Thyssen(galvanized steel) panels continued untill 76. The early 76 had only the coupe roof panels non-galvanized. The transition was completed by late 76 production.
