Default Carrera tail painting

Anybody had a tail and engine lid painted? I am curious what to expect to pay for this - it is a factory (with the rubber lip) and the engine cover it is mounted on.

Default Deck lid & tail

Rick,

I have a '86 911 Cab. and had a local collision shop color match the decklid and turbo tail. It cost $250.00 which I thought was very reasonable. They separated the tail from lid to do it right and the outcome was great. Ask around your area and find the guy with a small shop that does good work. Talk to him...mention you may be interested in having other things done by him in the near future...he may treat you right to bring you back. Best of luck!

$250 sounds fair to me and I would have no problem with that. Thanks.
