New Porsche owner
Hello everyone, My name is Chris. I have read this forum for a few years and joined A couple of months ago. I am picking up my dream ride tommorrow which is a 1985 carrera factory turbo look car. This car has belonged to a friend for the last ten years and I have wanted it from the first time I saw it. I will post some pictures as soon as I can. We have been getting hammered with rain in northern california but I am hoping to take it for a spin this weekend. I have been a mercedes benz and bmw technician/shop owner for the last 15 years and hope I can offer some technical help to you guys. I have a little porsche knowledge, but I am very familiar with CIS and DME systems as they are used widely on the brands I work on. Tommorrow is going to be a great day, Talk with everyone soon.
