Default Le Mans entry 2006

Sorry to find no Porsche in LMP2 class at Le Mans. Looks like lessons learned at Sebring apply.
We still have GT2. The GT2 category has been dominated by GT3's. Test days in early June.

When Porsche returns with a factory prototype I'd like to be there. I had a feeling we wouldn't see the Spyder there, even if it won P2 at Sebring and was within a few laps of the R10. Let's see how this year shakes out and see if the rumours about them developing the Spyder into a P1 are true, maybe Audi will trounce the field with the diesel and then walk away (hmmmm, I don't think so, look how long the R8 was competitive)

Porsche stated early on that LeMans 24 hour race was not part of their schedule this year. No surprise here.

Maybe next year when we start seeing privateer teams? If they're successful, surely they'll be invited to Le Mans?
