how is the whale tail set up?? like i have put a turbo tail on my normal 911 and was wondering how its set up on the turbo look. like is the deck lid any different then mine??? i did it like a while ago but have always forgot to ask, like i removed the old grille on the deck lid and just drilled away and put the tail on.

but i didnt know if the factory turbo looks had a different way so they dont have a big open hole.

LOL i dunno why i put "like" in there so many times. i was kind of in a rush when i typed this and was on the phone at the same time.

 

If you post a picture it might help--there is no "hole" on my rear deck, at least not that I am thinking of...unless you are talking about there being a large "hole" for the air to come into the engine compartment, which there is one of on my lid...it's basically open where the base of the tail affixes to the engine lid. Hopefully that helps. If you take a picture of the bottom of your tail when the compartment is open [e.g looking "out" from the engine bay], I can tell you if my 491 tail is the same.
