Default front license plate frame

Somewhere I saw a plate which allows you to mount the front license plate angled below the bumper. Anyone know what I am talking about?

Front license plates disfigure the 911s nose. Tell the cop it's "a european car" and you are figuring out a way to mount a front plate. Keep the plate in the trunk as evidence of your good intentions. Another good one for 996 is that the cooling lines are behind where the plate mounts and you have to be very cautious.HA!

You might be thinking of this - but it is for a 993 and I don't know if it would work on a 996.

You could always post the question on the 996 board to see if anyone there knows.

I don't have my front plate mounted, mainly because the bracket to mount an U.S. plate is missing. So the plate is under the floormat. I have passed many cops and have yet to be pulled over, and it's a law here in CT to have 2 plates.
