E-Bay 911sc Chip ?
What do you guys think this guy is talking about? It does say 84' Motronic conversion.

Says that he has a performance chip in a 1979 911sc.

I think one would have to assume that a 1984 3.2 Carrera motor was swapped into this car. Though one should never assume anything on these old cars...
If the motor was swapped for a 3.2 Carrera, the electronics that go with that motor can have the factory chip swapped out for various performance chips.
Anyone interested in this car would really need a throrough PPI to see what's all been done to this car and what condition the car is currently in.
There are no performance chips for 911SC's. They do not use electronic fuel injection. The 3.2 Carrera was the first model from the factory to offer Digital Motor Electronics that allowed for a chip change.

I think Jay is right. It's probably an SC with a 3.2 Carrera Motronic fuel injected engine and a performance chip. If everything was done right it should be a nice car. But when was the last time everthing was done right on a car like this? PPI mandatory.
