hehehe man an LS motor in a 911 would be just nasty. The LS motors are amazing power makers.... I just don't think I could do that to a Porsche, and I am far from a purest.

At the same time picturing a nasty 934 wide body and a 500HP LS2 would be just insane... all 2400 LBS of it >)

Anyone ever do a Turbo Subaru setup . with a massive single , standalone and all you could easily get 500hp for 1/2 price .

built 2.5L 5K
V8 heads W/cams 2K
GT turbo 3K
ECM 1K-1.5K (min dyno tune)
Custom IC 1K (with pipes and mounts)
Injectors 400-600

This would be a conservative engine build cost I think, then the custom fab to get it to mount and mate to a 915 or G50...

bang for the buck..... LS V8 FTW

I'd save the money on the tranny and just freshen your 915. The 915 is capable enough for the added HP, and a fresh 915 works and feels great.
