Question Carbon Fiber or Fiberglass Dash?

Does anyone know a source that sells a carbon fiber or fiberglass dashboard that would fit a 911SC. I'm looking for a lightweight alternative to using a conventional dash (which are now in the $1000 price range ) . Will an aftermarket dash top fit properly without a dash for it to cover? Any ideas are appreciated.

But if it's for a street-driven car, consider the potential head and neck lacerations.

There are places that re-cover the dashes for a reasonable price.

Justdashes.com will do more than recover it, they will actually reform it to eliminate warpage. Watch out though, as the prices for their work are near those of replacements.
