I'd also like to know the difference between stock and some of the performance products. I hear the stock muffler is quite heavy...

a dual in/out Monty weighs about 17 lbs. and the one mb911 (Ben) makes is about 14-15

if you want to save wt. then get somebody to make one out of Ti -- the 'vette has a lot ot Ti in the exhaust system - maybe all of it.
