High Beam/Low Beam Prob.
Hello! This is my first posting! I have an 85 Carrera Cab. Last night the high beams quite on me. I have the low beams when needed but no Highs when I flick the lever, although the blue high beam indicator is lit. Is this a new switch problem? I read on an earlier post that one guy bent the copper tabs, ect. Anyone run into the same problem I have ?

First- when you pull back on the lever, do you get high beam flash? If so, then the combo turn signal/hi=lo beam switch needs to be replaced. We have had mixed results with bending the copper contacts into line. They are usually deformed and have a memory that yields at best a short term fix. If you have no flash/ high beam when you pull the lever back, then perhaps you should check the bulbs themselves.
