I have a 71 that has the sc flares. what 16" Fuch fitments will fit on the car. can i use 7" front and 8 or 9" on the rear. spacers?

With sc flares, in the front you can use the 16x7 that comes stock on the rear of the sc and carrera. They are easy to find. The normal tire for that a 205/55/16. That is what I use. For the rear, you can use either the 16x8 or 16x9. They both fit fine. Both of them have that big lip. Visually they are the same with the exception of countersunk lug nut holes on the 9. Most people use either a 7/8 with 205/55 and 225/50 or 7/9 with 205/55 and 245/45. No spacers are needed with any of the above wheels.
