Thanks Jay.
I was speaking with my dealer about a Cayman in Pure Orange.

Luis,
That would be outstanding! One of my 914's is orange and I just bought my wife a new Wrangler in orange as well. It is a awesome color to have. If you do get a Cayman in Orange, please post pictures! Talk to you later.

Will do. I missed the allocation for 06 "special order" colors. I am waiting for him to call me with the date for the 07's. BTW, when I was born, my father had a 73 911S in the tangerine/blood orange color. It was very important to him that I went home from the hospital in it. 30 years later I hope to pass on the Porsche sickness to my little one (whenever he or she comes around).
Cheers,
Luis

I share the same story, my Father passed on the Porsche brand to me as well. I hope to someday (but not to soon) pass it on to my children as well! Talk to you soon. - Jay

Luis - great icon!

Do you have any icons like that of the early 911 - and are willing to share them?

Luis,
Do you have a sample color of that orange from Porsche that you can post? Or do you have a picture of the color on a different car? Thanks - Jay

Although you may not be able to tell from this picture, it is actually a metallic color. Truly amazing IMO.

Marc,
I think in my opinion that the 964 Turbo is the best looking 911 ever! I think it has all the right lines going for it! What an amazing looking car. The fastest I have ever driven in a Porshce was 160 MPH in 4th gear at 4K RPMs at Watkins Glen in a 964 Turbo. This car had heavy mods, but it was still amazing and a great looking car to boot!

Jay - are you sure you don't mean 5th gear? 40mph/1,000rpm is crazy tall for top gear, let along 4th in a 5spd box...
