Default Informal poll on brake pads (have done search)

I would like to know if anyone out there has used Mintex brake pads and if so, what are your impressions? I have heard mainly good things, but unfortunately some bad as well (mainly, they fell apart/disintegrated after short term use on street). I need pads for street use and want to use Pelican. They offer Mintex, Jurid ($$$), Pagid, and Textar. I am open to suggestions. TIA

I have Mintex and they are awesome! Car stops extremely well. Changed all brake lines while I was there. Sunday driver only.

I have loged just over 10k miles on a set of Hawk HP Plus pads. I know you were not asking about Hawk, but I am very pleased and will buy them again. I have only ever used my car for street and autcross..

I'm mostly a highway driver so my pads are always cold. In my situation Axxis soft are better than stock.. meaning no front wheel lock-up.

Jurid and Pagid are at the very top of the pile. Dusting and noise are well controlled, and stopping power of both is excellent. Just about the only pads my shop sold...
