Hello guys, I need some hints on the installing some new rubber hose onto the nipple. The hose runs from the carbon canister in the engine compartment to the the nipple under the car at the beginning of the tunnel. The hose is new and very tight fit. I have the car up on a jack and a little work space.I tried silicone spray, lithium grease and brake cleaner.

Get a cup of very hot water...dip the end of the hose in it for a few minutes to soften the rubber. Use liquid dishwashing soap as a lube. Since it's just the charcoal container, should work fine...
