I need to replace the passenger side lower Valve cover gasket on my '91 964 Turbo. Has anything changed/updated (parts/technique) wise since this thread was las updated? Any diagram of the torquing sequence and torque # we talk about?

Thanks

Start in the middle and criss-cross your way to each end.

The key to eliminate leaks is to sand the covers straight to correct previous turkey job. Then as here is pointed out, quality gaskets, al-washers & nylock nuts kit.
And the MOST IMPORTANT: torque wrench!
Don’t believe you can by hand tight the nuts evenly.
Look at the rocker shafts that there is no leaks there or the rocker cradlle assembly. Air cooled Porsche engine can so easily be screwed up during assembly. Bruce A book is highly
recommended.

You follow this instructions and you end ip with good non-leaking engine.

Make sure the leak isn't higher and you are not just blaming the valve covers.
