Post rpm's at idle

What is the proper rpm at idle for an '82 sc? When I first start the car, it is at 1000. When it warms up, it is at 900. When I get back in to drive after parked for a while, it is at 800, then goes back to 900 after being driven again. Does this sound normal? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

my 83sc idles a bit higher than yours when first started but then it seems to hover around 900-1000 once warm

Hi, those numbers are within specs. You need your idle to be between 800warm-1100cold for proper operation of the K-Jetronic system and proper warm up
