Help! 911SC Mirror Upgrade to 993
I am upgrading 82 911SC to 993 mirrors. I can't figure out the wiring. 911SC has white, brown, black and blue wires. The 993 mirros have white, brown-white stripe, black and black-brown stripe. I wasted most of the day trying different combinations to no avail. I thought I got the hard part done by assembling the mirrors. I am now an expert on compressing the spring.

I can help on the 82 SC side of the wiring. Here's the diagram:
The gray/green comes from the rear window defogger relay. The brown wire going through junction T3a (bottom T3a) goes on to the oil pressure indicator (although you probably don't see that wire at the mirror itself). The power to the mirror ****ch comes through fuse 14 though a black/violet wire (just for info).
