tinted heated or what
Hey,
So my option codes listed on the sticker on the front trunk lid include
568 and 577. One refers to tinted windshield and the other to Heated and tinted windshield. Is this like getting extra cheese on your pizzaa?
I have an '84 Cab ROW. Just struck me as odd,..seems you'd have
one or the other.
Any explanations?
THANKS!
Rich

During those years Porsche provided heading elements within the windshields. Look very closely at your windshield and you should see the very fine wires in it (making little loops). So many problems developed with those windows that ultimately I think they dropped their availability. When your insurance company decides to replace your windshield due to stone damage,--which will they put in? The $1850 one or the $300 one? This was a ROW window.

Hi Dan,
Thanks for the reply,...kinda figured it was a silly post. Just strikes me that I have a code for tinted windshield,....and tinted AND heated windshield.
Anyway,....I'll pull the cover off this weekend and look for my heater elements.
