Engine is fine when cold and warming up. Once it's warm the idle goes up to approx. 2,000 rpm. This continues even after driving and at stops. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Unfortunately, especially if your car still has MFI, your problem requires a hands-on approach to fix. There are many possible causes for a high warm/hot idle, so before anything is done with the injection it's back to basics. The dwell, timing, CO% all must be set to factory specs. The throttle linkage, including the gas pedal and hand throttle, must be cleaned, lubed where applicable, and inspected for adjustment issues. After that is done, if the problem continues, a specialist qualified to work on MFI should be involved.
