trans. What combination of flywheel clutchplate disc and starter ring
will I need. Any idea?

I'm not so sure that's a good idea. I think the G50 is a little heavier than the 915 and I also believe the 3.2 Carreras even upped their HP by 10 or so for the intro of the G50 in 1987. So unless smooth shifting is more important than reducing boost to you, I'd stick with the 915, or I'd get a 3.2 or 3.6 to fully maximize the G50.
However, if you do indeed need all the G50-compatible stuff, it ain't cheap. I shopped around and got great deals on everything and it was still a lot. Clutch kit from Ian's was $525 (a steal), release fork and shaft from John Walker's Workshop was $156, new guide tube and O-ring was $40 and change, new flywheel was $215 plus 9 bolts at $2 each and a new seal at $18.
Good luck.
