Default No Swepco 201

Hi all,

Swepco 201 is near impossible to get here in Australia so I was curious as to what else you might have experience with and recommend for the 915 tranny?

Many thanks,

Simon.

PS The Castrol website recommends CASTROL MULTITRAX for the 3.0lt engines. What do you think?

On the tranny, I'd check into the factory recommended spec & vendors - whatever is filled at the nearest dealership for 915s, esp if they have been around since the early '80s.

On engine oil, if you don't want to use Mobil 1, I'd suggest Shell Rotella T 15-40. It is excellent, & widely available around the world, since it is also used in diesel fleets.

I was not sure if pelican would ship Swepco worldwide as it may be classed as a 'combustible' or something but I will send them an email to find out.

Thanks.

Have you tried contacting Southwest Petroleum Company directly to ask them how to source 201? Their website is www.swepcoworld.com, their email is lube@swepcousa.com, and on their website they have a number of forms to send messages to them. If you want to call long distance, the number is 817-332-2336, and the fax number is (817) 877-4047.

The US generally follows the international hazardous materials shipping recommendations and shipping Swepco here is no problem. You should be able to get it no problem.
