Post 73 too loud

I have had enough!. My 73 T is just to damb loud!! The Monty sounds beautiful, and on the highway I love it, but it just too loud around town. and with my mods the motor has the occasional popping ect..I think it is to an annoying point at nice places. Can I put somethin in the tips, pipe ect?? Or o I need a new exhaust? Don't even know what is avaliable that is quiet. I know the older cars are quite loud.

Question

I also have a 1973 911T. What modifications have you made to the motor? Do you have the MFI, CIS or carbs? If you have MFI, the popping is a slightly lean condition. Trust me, you do not want the MFI to run rich. It will run like crap.

It is CIs 73.5. I have "S" cams, dual out Monty exhaust, SSI exchangers, larger airbox, tensioners.
It runs great but is so damb loud. Whenever I take it somewhere nice it just annoys people(and myself)
