Default 996 hardback sports seats in 911SC?

My current 1979 911SC has a pair of old recaro seats (not OEM) installed. I don't know the model #, but it's one of those that allows for pressure increase/decrease in the lumbar section (operated by 3 blue buttons on each side). It slides manually but the incline is power operated.

I just bought a pair of used 996 hardback sports seats and I'm trying to install them into my car.

Does anyone knows if it's a direct bolt on? Or do I need an adpater to make it work?

Also, the 996 seats do not come with sliders, so I'm kinda lost and could really use some help/advice. What do I need?

Thanks!

Default

search the 993 board as several people got these to fit in 993 cars. 993 cars use the same rails as older 911's so it must be possible.
