ALL plugs need to be gapped - NEVER put a plug out of the box into a car without checking it! Out of every six plugs, of the thousands I've installed, about three needed a minor adjustment. I've found plugs that were completely closed up, and I've found them with gaps twice that required. It takes a couple of minutes to gap them, and it only takes once to have to go looking for a strange missfire after finishing the installation to make that small investment in time seem priceless.
