Default 77 911 electric door locks and window retro fit

Anyone have experience with retro fitting electric windows in a car with roll up windows? Does the job require only the motors and switches or new regulators, all guts, etc.? Is the wiring already in the door?
Best place to source parts needed?

How about the door locks?

What year models parts of 911 can be used for these jobs?

Thanks for any help. Much appreciated.

Need the electric stuff? I have every bit of it, as I am retrofitting early roll up into my 77 to replace the electric stuff.

Let me know, I am local to you.

Running wires into the doors is a pia. You'll have to drill holes in the door inner sheetmetal to mount the door lock solenoids. The upper lock assembly may have or may not have a hole to help mount the lock sol connector rod. Gather all the info you can for the install. The correct sol mounting is imp. You'll need relays for the door locks.. btdt.

imo.. it's worth all the time and bs.

You will probably have to dismount both doors to facitlitate wiring the jamb and door. If you don;t have a passenger mirror, at least pull the wire for it at the same time. You'll thank yourself later, and the harnesses and cheap from Parts Heaven. you'll need the manual to properly fit and adjust the window tacks after you install the new regulators, etc. It is a great deal of work and for me, not worth it. more weight, more to go wrong.
