I'm gathering parts for my external oil cooler install. I have this coupon from the PCA, but the local dealership is so $$$$$$$ that I don't save any money over buying from Pelican. Does anyone know of a dealership that sells parts at resonable prices? I hate to just let the $100 off go to waste!

Buy an Excellence magazine, several P dealerships advertise. Some dealerships do offer better prices than others. Crescent City Porsche, Brandywine and others give PCA discounts and accept the $100 off certificate.
Good Luck!

Hennessy Porsche in GA discounts around 25% and takes the coupon, Brumo's in FL on the last coupon was doing 20% discount, don't know about this one, Reeves in FL and Hendricks in NC discount around 20% and take the coupon. Don't know if Sunset Porsche in Oregon, who has an Excellence discount of cost + 15% (about the same as 25% discount), takes the coupon or not.

Sunset in Oregon...no sales tax, and good prices. Check their ad in EXCELLENCE. They seem to be sincerely making an effort to gain parts business. They took my coupon...I bought 4 MFI fuel filters.

Hi there,
I know what you are saying....it's so easy to find the same OEM parts at a better price. I used my PCA coupon to get some great t-shirts, hats, and some other small things. I was surprised to see that the dealer accepted the coupon for that stuff, but all of them will. Have fun.
regards,

Mike,
Although Wayne at Pelican disagrees, (which, I suppose, is somewhat understandable given that PP can't accept them) I believe the PCA certificates are essentially found money when used at the proper dealer.
I would echo the posts above and also highly recommend Sunset Porsche. Ask for Bob. They sell parts at cost + 15%, and they gladly accept the PCA certificates.
Case in point:
I used my certificate at Sunset few weeks ago to buy a part that lists at Pelican for $455.70. Sunset's price was $347.70, or $247.70 after applying the PCA certificate. A total savings of $208.00. Not earth shattering, but enough to get my attention.
Good luck,
Tim
