3.0 wrist pin diameter

It's obvious that you need machine shop advice regarding the various differences that might exist from one rod to another. The SC connecting rod is different than the 3.2 Carrera/911 Turbo rod, by part number, so you would have to lay out your entire plan and have everything checked by someone who knows. Also, be aware that many conrod weight groups exist, each with its own part number. Where are you at in the country, perhaps we can recommend a good machine shop that can help with your project.

I believe they fit, but you must not use just one as a replacement, or your engine will be severly out of balance. Also, if you decide to use all six from a 3.2, you need to assess the impact on stroke, compression, deck height, etc. depending on the crank and pistons you are using.

Hi:
3.0 litre engines use 22mm wrist pins (rods); 3.2 engines have 23mm pins (different rods). Lengths are the same (although we see many poor QC variations that are corrected when they are rebuilt/rebushed).
As Pete said, factory rods are made and selected into weight groups so they must be installed (and replaced) as such. Aftermarket rods such as Pauter & Carillo are made and balanced in sets.
