89 Carerra 3.2 Wheel Spacers
I'm looking to add spacers to the rear (stock) Fuch wheels. This is to fill the fender wells, possibly even to help reduce some oversteer
Anyway, after searching, I am still a little confused. 1/4 spacers are a direct fit, no longers studs needed, etc. However, 6mm or so? Is that going to be enough to push the wheels to the edge of the fenders? If I move to 1" spacers (Pelican sells these with studs in the spacers), are the tires going to rub? Any experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

6mm = .236", BTW.
I have a standard body 84. I have (1"?) adapters in the back, have run 9" wide rear MM Cup 1's with no rubbing. I believe the offset is 52mm? but can check tonight. At that point you'd be able to do the math to see what'll fit.
With those rear spacers, I run '92 C2 wheels at 8" wide out back, the aforementioned Cup 1's at 9", and std 7" Fuchs w/ snows.
