Default MSD and Bosch Blue Coil

My 1973.5 911T had an MSD Ignition system which was installed in , proir to my purchase of the car. The car appears to have an original black Bosch coil. I read somwhere that it was better to use a Bosch Blue Coil with the MSD system. Does anyone know if this is the case or not? Thanks for any feedback that can be provided.

Hi:

Do NOT use a Bosch blue coil with an MSD.

The car will run, but the impedances are different and not only does the car suffer a power loss, but the MSD until will fail.

Use the proper MSD coil with your MSD ignition unit.
