OK, I did my usual "6'-4" dork fall into my driver's seat" and managed to split the seam between the flat part of the seat and the lower bolster. This, of course, catches me at a time when I do not have the $$$ to spend on a seat or the 300.00 for decent covers. Anybody have any thoughts on a low-buck fix? Can they be sewed?
Thanks in advance...

Hey fish,
If all you did is split the seam, don't worry too much. I did the same thing a couple of years ago. I simply removed the cover and brought it to an auto-upholsterer for sewing. I think the guy charged me 20 bucks or something like that.
Good luck,
