I had a new 944 then, well it was an '86....that was a fun car but not as fun as a 911 altho I didn't know it at the time.

I forgot. Magnus is a Pelican guy. He's one of the most interesting Porsche people in America. Very good story about how he started out. http://magnuswalker911.blogspot.com/ There is a 30 minute video of his out there called "Urban Outlaw". It's worth the time to find it. Sorry for the hijack - as soon as I buy the Porsche I've been agonizing over, I'll post photos.

 

Took the GF out to canyon lake for a picnic, beautiful scenary for her, 40 miles of mountain grade curves for me! (couldn't push too hard though gf get's scared easily!)

Also finally got the Fikse on! Could have gone wider in the rear, oh well just have to get those 315's next time!

 

My gut feeling it to go out and buy the '86 Targa that I keep looking at. THEN I can post my own picture.
