My '88 Carrera that I bought new. Sold it after 17 years and bought it back 5 years later. Wont make that mistake again!

What an unusual color, was it a paint to sample? Beautiful car, I suspect the color changes quit a bit as the light changes. BTW, aerodynamicists would recommend that a G bodied car have spoilers at both ends or neither.

Thank you for the compliment.

Its Ruby Red Metallic. The color changes A LOT based on lighting. Everything from brown to maroon, to even a purplish color.

Regarding the spoiler effects. I’ve heard this before. Personally, I only like the whale tail on the Wide body Turbo.

I have all the records and will will see if it originally had one. I do love the wider wheels.

Fantastic cars!!!

I drove many before choosing this one. I picked it over a clean 997. I thought I’d buy a 993, but I prefer the cockpit experience and perspective of the older models. Anyway, this was the one for me.

Bryan thx for advice on the wheels. Here they are. I went with a satin clear coat over the wheels which is a compromise. Easier to keep clean but makes them look painted imo. It is what it is.

agreed, beautiful car. It appears your wheels match the graphite and add to the contrast of the paint.

however, too nice of a car for Fletch ;-)

Thx guys! it was unintentional. just lucked out. I had the stripe before the wheel refinish but the stripe matches the wheels really close. tough to tell in photo but the stripe is silver and Porsche is white.
