Great cars!
Here's my additions to the thread. The '68 I've owned since 1993, when it was just an "inexpensive used Porsche." The '84 I bought last fall when I realized one day that the '68 was no longer an "inexpensive used Porsche."
Both cars are pretty much original, with the exception of the radios in both and a repaint on the '68.

Here are a few of the pre-964 fleet, past and present. Starting with my proud acqusition in July 1980, weeks after I got out of high school. How I conned my parents into a $6000 Porsche I really don't know.......... 3 years later it became the white wannabe RSR/930 with a 2.7RSish engine. That car basically set me up with a foundation for a lifetime of Porsche learning.
Some others I've had are the twin blacks, a '79SC that was a one owner piece of junkthat basically got dropped off in front of my garage in '92. Had a lot of fun with that. Got me back into track events. Which brought about its twin, the black '74 (No, not the same car even though both shots have those ugly chromed Fuchs....note the oddball flare job). Put a cobbled together 3.5 in it and got back into track events big time. The silver car is what it became. Still in the family, just not in my garage. Has a 3.6 in it now.
The club racer that's taken up residence in my backyard is the white '73 RS look.
Oh and there's a '77 I did at the same time I was doing the '79. Made it into a 930 3.0 for my old girlfriend. Did that one is Amazon Green, which I had spotted on a 928 at the dealer. Called her up and said I know what color your car will be!

Here am I and my 1996 993 doing the Miller Motorsport Park track out in Utah. I found out how much fun it is to A. Hit 130 + mph in a two thirds mile straight and still be able to make the corner at the end, and B. Spin out at about 65 mph on a banked turn, manage to hold it under 270 degrees rotation, and realize it wasn't all that dangerous (except for worrying about someone else hitting me in the process. Damn if it doesn't turn out it's a Porsche!

Hey JV, the pictures were taken in Banff Canada. The building serving as the backdrop to the second picture is the Banff Springs Hotel. I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me when I say Banff is an awesome place.
