Very much so. He wasn't big on maintanence, decent oil or driving it with care. I try to black out the memories of seeing him do burnouts in it. :-(
It's okay. It's safe now.

Soaz,

Amazing storylines and pictures on your links.
And the car looks great!

Below my 83 SC, much in need of cleaning... (Actually needs some restoration: new paint and interior freshening up - mechanicals have already been taken care of)

Thanks Chris, good and dirty lookin SC. I like the less seen colors for 911's. THOSE SEATS. I love it. My covers are toast so I would love to do that pattern or similar on mine. Sometimes poor paint is a blessing so you can drive it with no worries of rock chips. My paint is good from about 25 feet away, but pretty rough so I don't get too scared carrying bikes above it!

Took the bikes out for a pre-storm ride yesterday.

Ivan, that car looks tuff with the black rims. Love the look. And JQ - yes, the 16's look great on your car! Fantastic pictures, everyone. Keep 'em coming.

Hi Chad thanx -yup i like that look, too.
It actually looked meaner when i used the rear 245/50 16 tires .But there are nowhere to be found nowadays. I have 8th and 9th offset on mine.

He there -

I notice you went back to your 16" fuchs. What tires are your running at 225/50 and 245/45? I've got Bridgestone Potenza RE11 205/55/r16 245/45/r16 on mine now and love the look. But it's almost time for replacements and I can't seem to find a source for that size.

thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim,

I recently ordered Toyo Proxies TR1 225/50 and 245/45s at Tire Rack. They were available on those sizes when I ordered last June 2016.

Hi Chad,

Thanks.

Here is a photo when the 16s were mounted. I have 6mm spacers that haven't been installed yet for that more aggressive look at the rears.

They are not rubber spacers but oil cooler scoops for cooling.

Hi Ivan, I took out the side markers and replaced with rubber molding to get that euro look and complement my rear euro bumpers. My H4s are euro and havent tapped the daylight running lights as well as the fender sidemarkers to complete the look.
