Default 1989 Coupe

Got this car about four months ago, always in Northern California. So far this is a great driver in excellent original condition. Pictures with original white fuchs and 17" Euromeister wheels.

Tell me more about the 17" Euromeisters, e.g. widths? What size tires are you running on them?

The Euromeisters are after market but DOT approved sold by Pelican or Ecklers Automotion (800) 327-4868. The fronts are 7's and rear are 9's. My car is not lowered but they fit with no issues. I saw the same setup on a 86 coupe that was lowered so they rolled the front fender but that's it. The best thing about the wheels is tire selection. I am running Michelin Pilot Super Sport in 215/45/17 in front and 245/40/17 in the back. Second best thing, I bought all four wheels for around $600. If you watch promotions you can get excellent pricing. Fronts were $118 each and rears were $169 each. Handling is much improved with the Super Sports, nothing rubs. From a distance you can't tell from Fuchs. Both suppliers said they sell a lot of these wheels with little returns/problems. They are not authentic but when you compare the pricing to an original Fuchs at over $1100 each and have a much better tire selection is was a good option.

Thanks for the info; I was just about to "pull the trigger" on the 16" Euromeisters but if you are telling me the 17" will work I'll probably go that route JUST because of tire selection.
