Hi all,
Can I take this quick oportunity to say hi and introduce myself as this will be my first post (if there is an official way to introduce ones-self please point me in the correct direction).
I live in the DC area (some around here may know me) and have been somewhat active in the local scene for a year and a half now.
1989 911 3.2L waiting to be lowered to euro height and add carrera tail for summer days only. This picture is old as euro tail lenese have already been added.
1990 944 S2 (I know this is the 911 forum ) for the daily commute and DE. This is the pic from the PO's FS add. A lot has been done to this car to get it into shape. Nothing cosmetic.
Cheers,
Mike

Those are OEM Porsche parts from a 930 I think. They make them for 993's also in clear, black, red, white and silver (polar & artic).

[QUOTE=einzel]Nice cars! Here is my boy, original targa turbo look 3.2 from 87!
How many original turbo look targa porsche made?
QUOTE]
Officially, 1180 in the U.S. 84-89. Unoffically, maybe a few hundred more than that, due to poor record keeping by Porsche. And I don't know how many were sold ROW as the "Supersport" model.
Einzel, What color is your Targa? According to PNA, there were 4 TL targas imported into the U.S.in 87. Mine, which was orig. Iris Blue Metallic, a Guard's red one that sold on EBay (from Atlanta) in the Fall of 2004, a dark blue (maybe Cobalt Blue) one owned by a PCA member in Ashville, NC, that was sold in early 2005. If your's is not the blue one (it looks black in the pic), it is the last "official" one that I have been looking for.
I have attached a pic of the red one I took off of Ebay when it was for sale, and a pic of mine, which is now Pearl white, but was orig. Iris Blue. I never got a pic of the Ashville car.
I just thought you would like to know that you have "1 of 4".
