Default Alternator rebuild

I am looking to rebuild my alternator from my 79 SC.I have ulled it from the top of the motor.

It is a Valeo one! Does anyone know if the parts are still available ie diodes brushes rectifiers bearings etc.

Also has anyone ever done this it appears easy enough with a good soldering iron and lathe etc

Any info appreciated

I don't know about the brand, but I had a local electric motor/alternator/generator shop rebuild mine five years ago. $75
