"Blipping" the throttle on a modern, electronic-controlled car is not a good thing to do. Sometimes it's enough to confuse the fuel injection. Of course, the issue should be mentioned to your professional mechanic if you decide to proceed with a PPI.

First thing; try cleaning/renewing the idle stabilizer valve (appx $180.00 to replace).
Bringing the base idle speed up a tad might help in the interim.

I had a similar problem. I replaced idle stabilizer valve, O2 sensor and head temp sensor. Nothing worked. Then someone suggested that the mixture needed adjustment. I took it to my mechanic who adjusted the mixture. Problem solved.
Sometimes the easiest solutions are the best.

Interesting. I just had my CO2 adjusted. My mechanic found it was a little lean. Down slightly below 1.0. He adjusted it to just about 3.0. Now, the car dies when I come to a stop and disengage the clutch. But not always. Weird. It didn't do this before the CO2 was adjusted.
