Just as another data point for you in pricing, I just picked up an 84 Cabriolet with perfect interior and exterior for $14,425. It's a Texas car with not a spot of rust on it anywhere. My mechanic says it runs as well as the typical 84 Carrera. I spent about $1,400 getting a handful of small things fixed up after purchase.
