Default Short Shift Kit for '87?

Anyone have a recommendation for a good short shift kit for a '87 w/G50?

Thanks,
Paul

I could be wrong here, but I have searched and searched for a short shift kit for the G50 and to the best of my knowledge they do not make one. my understanding is that the G50 came w/ a substantially shorter shift than the 915 cars already from the factory. But I have no idea why any aftermarket company doesn't make one. Or @ least I cannot find one.

I don't think there is an aftermarket offering, but my '88 Commemorative Edition has a factory short shift kit...so there should be at least one option available for you.

My 88 Carrera came with a factory short shift. I think it was option 243. Call your nearest Porsche dealer to see if they can get it for you. I don't know of any after market producer of them..

I believe the "short shift kit" is just a tad shorter shift rod.

Wevo was working on one, don't know if it's generally available yet but it might be worth your while to contact them.
