ok so ive just decided to keep my car after i got a new clutch put in. i already bought a fabspeed cat. bypass, and muffler bypass. now i want to know what other little things can i do real quick to get a little more pep out of the car. i want to see what i can do with the 3.2 im not much of a motor swap person and i dont have the money for a 3.6 anyway. this is a long term project so im not worried about streaching stuff over time.
so what i was thinking for next was
- a chip....but whats the best chip out there?
-an intake....but whats the best intake??
anything else that could be listed would be nice, i also plan on keeping my car full weight for now, i like a bit of a challenge, anyone can strip a car down, but i enjoy driving mine everyday and like to keep my ac and all that for now.
Thanks
Eric

Hey - I've got a 87 as well.
From what I have read - go seek Steve Wong for chips (www.911chips.com)
Changing intake to a cone type only gets you a nicer sounds - no power increases (possible loss)
I think the best bang for the buck for the 3.2 would be a set of headers and sport muffler. Something to do in the near future for me.
My path has been to keep the engine stock, tune the chassis, and improve the driver by attending DEs and have fun
BTW - I'm in the Annapolis area..

The next place I would go is some nice close ratio gears for the trans, the car becomes much more fun to drive in the twisties at the expense of freewat cruiseing comfort.
Any meaningful engine work is very expensive
