I saw that too, truly sad to have let that sit for so long...who ever ends up getting that will definitely have to let it continue to sit (as a museum piece) or throw tons of money @ it

There is a 50 mile 930 at a dealer in Vermont. It still has the original window sticker and everything. The SC in my sig is a one owner car and has about 27k on it. . . . .and I thought that was low!!

There is another whole segment of buyers/owners out there that truly enjoy these low mileage cars. They probably are not considered cars anymore, but more like artwork. The less miles the better. You collect them, store them in a nice facility, never drive them, look at them and get pats on your back from your fellow collectors to have such a low mileage cars in your possession.

Most of us think/feel that these cars were designed to be driven, but if a few of these cars 'get left behind' and are in collector's collections with extra low miles, we always have something to look back on and see how a 911 was when it was new. I personally enjoy looking at these low mileage cars (I'm a concours guy and a amature judge).

However, I can see a low mile Turbo in a collection or a limited edition 911 (or whatever) in a collection, but keeping a pretty "run of the mill" Guards Red 1988 3.2 (that were probably built in the hundreds of units) in a collection with 75 miles on it seems like a waste. Why not some rare color or option package(s)?

Examining the pics makes me think this car also needs a good detailing as well... Paint and leather look a little 'dry'...

Just my $.02 and nothing more...

I notoced a fairly large scratch in the leather on the overhang above the speedo. Probably caused by a fingernail or a piece of jewelry.
Anyway.... $65K for that car means that my car with 103K miles is only worth $2,176.21!

Yikes! Maybe I should quit driving it so much

Oh, you're referring to 911 Speedster owners Those cars are invariably low-mileage when they come up for sale. It's like everyone bought them to help hold down their garage floors.

I'm always a bit of a skeptical when I see cars like this with such low mileage.. who would be dumb enuff to buy one of these and never drive it?

P.S. If you are insanely rich and would like to buy one of these for me to hardly drive, please replace dumb with eccentric

I see the 1990 964 is still listed on Segal's site, up to about 550 km now!

the first thing i would do with that car is a 5 grand drop and some donuts....**** it cars are ment to be driven and sports cars were made to be enjoyed. its like taking an olimpic runner and having him walk old ladys across the street all day, he needs to strech his legs.

some one needs to take that car and go top it out, poor car
