Has anybody done a 901 to 915 gearbox swap on a 71 T What is involved

You've got to think about the clutch, the shifter, the type of clutch cable (hook or straight), speedo (cable or electric) etc. It's a straight forward job, not for the timid, and can be done in a highly professional manner. I think that we need to know what year 915 that you have, etc.

I want a little more dependable gearbox that is a little less prone to internal damage. I thought a 915 is a big imprvement over the 901. I thought of a G50 swap but there is a lot of mods that have to be done to the sheet metal
